What We
Believe .

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. - John 14:6

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Melchizedek Global Fellowship based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical truths.

GOD

We believe there is one true God who is eternally self-existent and the creator of all things. God is beyond human understanding and imagination and has revealed himself through his Word. God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present. He is unconditionally loving, relentlessly merciful, and absolutely just. He has revealed himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

And God has given man the gift of eternal life, which was in the Son. Every one that believes gets this life as a seed, and the Holy Spirit is with us to nurture this life to grow. And this life is given for the kingdom of God.

THE BIBLE

We believe God inspired the writing of the scriptures and protected the transmission process of the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, to equip humankind to honour and obey God in every area of life.

HUMANITY

We believe that humankind is created in the image of God. As such, we were designed to be representatives for God on earth. However, we believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We believe that unconditional love, unlimited forgiveness, and undying hope are found in Jesus Christ - the one and only mediator between God and man.

SALVATION

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who believe in Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found and is in Christ alone.

THE CHURCH

We believe in the unity of the church. That  God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. One body put together by God, placing parts just as He wanted them to be, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it,  so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. “May they be one as you and I are one, that the world will know that you sent me.” John 17:21

LIFE ETERNAL

Eternal life is the very life of God welling up to an overflowing spring within us (John 4:14); the very fullness of God’s own life, given to us in full supply through Christ in us, the hope of glory.

This eternal life is a life of completion, of the fullness, of the kingdom of God, which is a life of dominion, of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). This life is the true grace that births absolute surrender and the manifestation of Jesus in and through a believer.
