CATALYZING CHANGE

TRANSFORMATIONAL INITIATIVES FOR KARAMOJA

Karamoja, situated in the northeastern part of Uganda, has encountered substantial difficulties, encompassing issues such as food insecurity, poverty, and instability. Initiatives to tackle these issues have incorporated a blend of immediate relief measures and enduring developmental approaches, presently being executed by Melchizedek Global Fellowship in collaboration with Life World Ministries Uganda and the Cenzino Universe Association - Geneva. The employed approaches encompass enhancing food security, supporting marginalized communities, bolstering security, and other endeavors, all carried out with a commitment to preserving the region's cultural heritage.

EFFECTING THE CHANGE

Our efforts to improve the way of living in Karamoja often involve a combination of short-term relief measures and long-term development strategies which we are currently undertaking:

Emergency Food Aid

1Providing immediate assistance in the form of food aid during periods of acute food shortages.

Agricultural Development

Implementing sustainable agricultural practices, improving irrigation systems, and introducing improved seed crop to enhance food production in the region.

Infrastructure Development:

Investing in infrastructure, including housing, storage facilities, safe and clean water sources
